This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I came here for Father’s Day with my parents and had an amazing experience! All the sashimi was sourced from Japan and super fresh. Even the regular tuna was amazing and I usually never like regular tuna. The plating was also so beautiful. It was so amazing that I’m still thinking about it 2 months later

Impeccable sushi dining experience. From the beginning entrance being greeted warmly without a reservation and sat immediately. The waiter, Shawn explained the options in the menu for the optimal experience. The best part was learning their Chu Toro had just flown in from Japan. The way they meld the nigiri and sashimi toppings leave you wanting more while having you pause to appreciate each flavor. The menu is quite extensive, it appears they also provide some delicious japanese staples such as fried chicken thighs and warm dishes. I will come back for omakase with my friends and family. Thank you for this fulfilling sushi dine in experience.

Absolutely incredible experience! The restaurant was spotless, beautifully designed, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding from start to finish attentive, friendly, and professional. Every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The sushi was some of the freshest I’ve ever had, and every recommendation from the staff was excellent. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Houston and easily the tastiest in the area. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Had such a lovely first experience here. The music set the perfect tone, the ambiance felt effortlessly chic, and the service was genuinely warm without being over the top. The food was Absolutely delicious, Emma took amazing care of us and made the whole evening feel personal, and Chef Cody truly delivered. I was honestly surprised in the best way, and I’ll definitely be back. Also, the lychee martini… dangerously good. Easily one of the best I’ve had in town.

My goodness…what a terrific meal! We had the omakase, which was an exquisite! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented from beginning to end. In addition to the 18 course omakase, I highly recommend the uni truffle pasta - absolutely delicious! We sat at the sushi counter, the chefs were very pleasant to interact with. Service was great, food was exceptional. This meal definitely surpassed expectations. Highly recommended!!
